Support Groups
POZITIVE ATTITUDES
The Museum’s original Support Group, ‘POZitiveAttitudes.com‘ is a topic-driven support group for Gay and Bi-Sexual men who are infected or affected by HIV or AIDS. The group meets every Wednesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 PM here at the World AIDS Museum in Wilton Manors, 1201 NE 26th St. Suite 111, Wilton Manors, FL 33305. The first hour is dedicated to a specific pre-determined topic. Around 8 o’clock, we take a 15 minute break for refreshments; cake, soda and water. The second half, we’ll discuss items of interest that affect our community such as Medical Updates, News Events, or up coming social events. Read more here where you can choose to subscribe to the group’s blog and be notified of updates and events such as Friday night movie meet-ups and more. This group is facilitated by World AIDS Museum founder, Steve Stagon.

POSITIVE SOCIAL AND UNI±ED
Much more than a “support group,” Latinos Salud’s Broward “Positive Social” and Miami “Uni±ed” groups are open to ALL people living with HIV, and their allies. “Each week, we explore a new topic, watch a movie, get tips on healthier living, and share a meal. We are stronger together! Tuesdays at 7:00pm in Wilton Manors, and the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month at 7:00pm in Miami Beach.” For more information about these groups and others, click here.
